June 24, 2021 Update from My Church Winnipeg
We're thankful to see reducing cases of COVID-19 in Manitoba, along with lower numbers of hospitalizations. We know that these past few months have been especially hard on all Manitobans.
Earlier this week, the Government of Manitoba's entered phase one of their 4-3-2-1 Great Summer Re-Opening Path. At this time, we did not see gathering sizes for churches increase to a level that would facilitate My Church Winnipeg returning to in-person gatherings on Sunday morning.
The leadership team at My Church Winnipeg decided to hold online only Sunday Services for the duration of July and August. We will not be holding any Sunday morning services until September, at the very earliest. We will continue to stream our service live to watch online! You can find our service here! It's our hope and prayer that we will be able to gather in person in September.
Please see mychurchwinnipeg.ca/reopen for more information on our Re-Open plan for 955 Wilkes Avenue.
We want to encourage you to continue to give faithfully to our general budget at My Church Winnipeg even though we aren't meeting on Sunday mornings so that we can continue to do ministry and be on mission. If you or someone you know is struggling financially due to lay-offs and other COVID-19 related issues, please contact us for help using the form above.
Our office is closed to the public. We are are not taking any in-person appointments, in accordance with the guidelines from the Government of Manitoba. Our staff will be checking emails regularly and will be in and out of the offices.
