Frequently Asked Questions

Are there still Sunday Services with the new public health orders?

Yes! We are still operating under the current Public Health Order from the Government of Manitoba for churches and houses of worship. You can choose to join our online service or you can attend at 955 Wilkes Avenue and join our Watch Party!

We are limited to 100 people in our facility, attendees are required to wear masks, and observe social distancing.

What is a Watch Party?

We are going to be showing our Online Service at 955 Wilkes Avenue. At 10:30AM, you'll be welcomed by one of the pastors and then we'll participate in pre-recorded worship from the My Church Winnipeg worship team. You are welcome to worship and sing-a-long, but please keep your mask on. After the worship, we will watch the message together on the projector screen.

Why aren't we just having regular in-person services?

We will soon! But with the extra volunteer requirements to have both an in-person and online service, we aren't quite ready to have that. We want to ensure that we've maximized space for you to attend.

Are there multiple Sunday Service Watch Parties?

No. We will only be offering one Watch Party on Sundays at 10:30AM. We will also be live-streaming our service at

Will services feel the same as before COVID-19?

The experience will be somewhat different than our services pre-COVID-19. At this time, our worship and message portions of the service will be pre-recorded and we will view on our projector screen. We will be masked and socially distanced.

Will we be singing?

Yes! We have prioritized singing in worship together and separated seating in all worship spaces by at least 10 feet to safely accommodate this.

Do I have to wear a mask?

Yes. We will require masks indoors (even during service) and social distancing at all times. Guidelines will be posted and are in place to help keep everyone safe and healthy.

What will seating in services look like?

The sanctuary will be limited to a maximum of 100 people as per Government of Manitoba guidelines. In addition, in order to accommodate singing, seating will be separated by at least 10 feet to separate those from different households.

Is Kids programming available?

No. At this time, we will not have Nursery, Preschool or Kids Church offered as part of our in-person Sunday services. Our weekly Preschool and Kids Church lessons will be posted on our YouTube page.

Is there a recommended arrival time for services?

Yes. Doors will open to the church 15 minutes (10:15AM) prior to the start of service (10:30AM). A host will take the platform prior to worship beginning to welcome you and explain things.

What do I do when I get to church?

Upon entering the church, signage or a volunteer team member will direct you to the appropriate entrance door. Please ensure all occupants of your vehicle are wearing a mask upon exit of your vehicle.

Why do I have to register to come to church?

Registration is necessary for two reasons. First, to ensure reduced and reasonably safe capacity levels. Second, in the case of a verified report of a positive Covid-19 case in someone who has attended, we will communicate with everyone in attendance during that service time.

Can I register once to come every week?

No. Registration will be necessary each week (registering for multiple weekends at one time will not be an option). Registration for Sunday service will open on the Sunday prior to each weekend on the website and in the My Church Winnipeg Church Centre mobile app. Proof of registration will be required to enter the building. No exceptions.

Will extras like the Café, Gymnasium, etc. be open?

No. We are limiting contact points and areas with lines. Upon arrival, people will be asked to go immediately to the sanctuary. No food or drink will be allowed in the sanctuary.

What do I do if I attend a service and later find out I’ve tested positive for Covid-19?

Please notify the church. We will not share your name, but will make everyone in attendance at that particular service aware that a positive COVID-19 test has been reported by someone who was in attendance. Email:

Will online services change times?

No. We will still be live-streaming our service at 10:30AM every week.
